She can walk

It was very surprised that on Wednesday last week she suddenly stood up and walked around. We were a bit worried because she cruised and walked with support for almost 6 months but had no intention to walk by her own. Her feet are still very small (her shoes are on size 18 ~ 6 month old). But she did. And very stablely. She walks around, stands up by herself, rarely falls. Of course sometimes she crawls because it's faster.

We are so relieved. To be honest, I was not very worried. I know she is small and she needs sometime to catch up with others. And every kid grows at their own speed. But grandmas, grandpas kept asking every week. It is very annoying sometimes.

It is more fun with her walking. On Sunday, we came to our friends' home to have lunch. While everyone was sitting on the floor, eating, she stood up, walked around people with a very pround face. We found it so funny and cute.

And she speaks a lots. Nobody understands. I told her to say: Gấu (Bear in Vietnamese). And now everything she says is starting with G. Yesterday morning she said: Bố Huy (Papi Huy) very clearly. While we were still sleeping on her mat, she came to her papi and called: Bố Huy, bố Huy. It's so cute. Strange, she didn't say Mama, Bà... but Gấu and Bố Huy, which are more difficult.

Hope she can talk soon.

Back

It's been a while since my last post. Yeah, there have been a lot of things happened to Tep so far. She's into the weaning but has not graduated yet. Still we are practising with the ultensils. Sadly Tep has been through sickness quite often after her 1st birthday. That's why the progress is quite slow and her weight is slowing down too. We have to force her eat at some point (spoon feed) when her weight is dropped out of the curve. But honestly, I don't want to do that and I try to do it as little as possible.

She has 8 teeth now and is trying to walk. She has been cruising for almost 6 months. 6 months, yes, we thought she was cruising forever. Anyway things have changed. She started standing without support and taking some steps. Her feet are still tiny (size 18, like a normal 6 month old). What can I say. She is a preemie.

I will modify this blog a little bit, to write about her (not only with the weaning), my experience from birth, everything about baby. Usually I write her a diary. But from now on I will use computer more so why not with the blog. In English.
